robert james byrne died on 24 12 04 age 44 he was the fifth child of bobby and kathleen who moved to england from ireland rob went to pellon lane junior school and after passing his 11 plus he went to clare hall grammer school he did well at school and passed all his exams and was offered an apprenticeship at mordern foundry working alongside his dad he took a job as an apprentice moulder and worked in the foundry untill his death he developed a passion for rock and roll music in his early teens and with the music came an image of the teddy boy and rebellion and lived the image to the full making many friends on the rock and roll scene rob regularly travelled the country following the music and image he loved and collected memorabilia from the 50's and never looded out of place stepping out of his mk1 cortina like a movie star as he grew older the teddy boy image remained but the rebellion turned to fatherhood and rob became a loving father to maybelline and elliot rob was proud of all he achievements his children he loved them deeply he was a devoted father and was at his happiest when around maybelline and elliot growing up in a household with 3 brother michael brian sean 3 sisters angela mary berni there was never a dull moment with plenty of ups and downs laughter and tears rob always remained close and loyal to his family and always loved and cared deeply for his mother and father rob is sadly missed by all his family and friends and all the people he met along his path of life cherished memories
